Michael Thomas joined Q10 | Bonneville Real Estate Capital in 2007 as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Before joining Bonneville, Michael served as CFO to a local pharmaceutical development company and later with a large, multi-clinic health care center.

Michael’s fiduciary responsibilities have consisted of overseeing the company’s financial activities. This includes the development and management of operating/capital budgets, financial reporting/analysis, cash flow forecasts, project feasibility, financial and circular OMB 133 single audits, the implementation of industry-specific software programs, account reconciliation, Federal/State Grant management, AP/AR, and payroll operations.

Other duties include participating as a member of an Audit & Finance Committee and reporting directly to the Board of Governors regarding fiscal operations, budget development, and budget variances.

Annual job requirements have included the development of Medicare and Medicaid cost reports, Uniform Data System (UDS) data collection and reporting, annual operational/capital budgets, the engagement of auditing firms, and reviewing policy changes and accountability toward financial and departmental outcomes.

During this period, Michael has also supervised insurance billing, administrative, human resource, and information systems (IS) departments.

Michael was born and raised in Salt Lake City. Michael married Suzanne Gochnour and has four children. His hobbies include coaching youth baseball and basketball.
