Tyler joined BREC in 2005.
As the Senior Vice President of Operations, he works directly with the Chief Operating Officer overseeing day-to-day administrative and operational functions of a 70+ person company. He provides assistance with budgets, payroll, staffing, internal systems, and benefits.
Prior to taking on his current role, Tyler also served BREC as a portfolio specialist, a senior loan analyst, and an associate director.
As a portfolio specialist, Tyler and three teammates oversaw a $2.65 billion portfolio. As a senior loan analyst, he underwrote and processed the application and commitment of over $2 billion in mortgage financing. He also led a four-person analyst team and mentored junior analysts. As an associate director, he worked with a team of two other directors. Together, they closed in the $200+ million range of commercial real estate loans every year.
Tyler graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelor of Science degree in finance. He is a licensed real estate sales agent in Utah.
