Sam is a director at Bonneville Real Estate Capital. At BREC, Sam is responsible for originating new commercial real estate debt, with an emphasis on long-term financing. During his time at BREC, he has assisted or led out on over $1 billion of new financing.
Before BREC, he worked for a Los Angeles-based private equity fund focused on multifamily housing. He directed a regional team that bought, renovated, and managed assets. He’s experienced in property ownership and asset management with deep family ties to the commercial real estate industry.
He received his bachelor’s degree in business administration and his Master of Real Estate Development degree both from the University of Utah. Sam serves on the committee for the Utah Real Estate Challenge, an annual development challenge administered by the Ivory Boyer Real Estate Center.
